Executive Summary: RESOURCE EFFICIENCY DEMONSTRATION PROGRAMME IN THE FERTILIZER INDUSTRY IN INDONESIA

The fertilizer industry in Indonesia has been supporting the agricultural sector for more than 60 years. Throughout the years, the focus of the fertilizer industry has remained consistent to meet the demands of the farmers, provide an equitable distribution throughout Indonesia, improve the efficiency of production, and provide solutions to the farmers. This study found that the application of resource efficiency techniques in the fertilizer industry can trigger competitiveness, reduce environmental footprint, and assist the government in meeting the climate target.
