Stories of change: Building green tourism businesses in Indonesia

Under the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) Indonesia, implemented through the International Labour Organization (ILO) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, this video highlights how micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and local tourism villages are driving inclusive green growth from the ground up. By pairing green entrepreneurship with essential financial literacy, the initiative has empowered more than 950 MSMEs across 12 provinces to adopt zero-waste practices, eco-friendly packaging, and community-based sustainable tourism—proving that circular economy principles not only protect local ecosystems but also boost enterprise revenues and foster decent work for communities across Indonesia.
